Welcome to the Town Square by the Sea - An Engaging ESL Playground!

Description

Step into the town square by the sea, designed to complement Oxford Discover Book 1, Units 3 & 4: "Where Can We See Colors?" This vibrant educational world is packed with nearly 50 activities that bring learning to life through interactive and engaging experiences. There are five main areas in the playground and each area begins with a specific focus, but you'll experience a spiral curriculum throughout the playground where repetition, review, and new applications of all concepts are woven in and around every building and activity. Topics include: color mixing and murals, under the sea and clothing vocabulary, grammar, nouns, prepositions using Mad Libs and Hangman games, fiction and nonfiction, beginning-sounds phonics, to name a few. Lessons use listening, reading, matching and dialogue practice to complete the activities. And for the goal seekers in the group, gift boxes will be found throughout to give clues about the location of a hidden room, the final “prize” for your student to explore.
