Description

Welcome to Mushroom Kingdom Racetrack! This gaming themed adventure is action-packed and filled with action zone activities! The whiteboard contains a slide with a playground map for the teacher. Players begin their adventure up in the clouds inside a mushroom house. Travel along the game path and complete teacher assigned coin tasks as you make your way to the scavenger hunt which unlocks the gate. Once complete, travel along the path to the Mushroom Kingdom which includes 4 escape rooms that lead you on an adventure to rescue the princess! Next, make your way up the stairs onto the roof where you will complete gaming riddles to unlock a treasure chest which opens a floor drop door. Follow the last path to the racetrack where you will complete a syllable relay race! Once complete, the large chest will open with your reward! This activity is ready to be used as-is or can be reconfigured to meet your needs. Teachers can use this in a combination of different ways in their lessons. You can use this as is, you can add your lesson content on walls along the adventure, or you can reconfigure the action zones with content that aligns to your instruction. Watch the Youtube video for instruction on reconfiguring the action zones. ***To prep this playground, you can unlock the Reaction Props to move them out of the doorway and replace them in order to get through the adventure without completing or disrupting the action zones.
