Welcome to the Gemland PAST Test Template! This activity features a playground and whiteboard slides to host your PAST assessment. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the PAST test, it is a test on phonological awareness that can be found in Equipped for Reading Success or directly from the website https://thepasttest.com/. You can complete this assessment using the whiteboard slides OR the playground. Both have slides with stars. When the student completes a task, drag the star onto the square. In playground, the action zones are tied to the stars. At the end, they can be rewarded for their efforts by playing in the furnished house. Should they discontinue the test before the last level, I would suggest still giving them the opportunity to be rewarded by changing the "start" to the island with the furnished house. You can find this option at the top center of your playground. This activity does not provide the test. It gives credit to the original test and can be used as a visual progress tracker while administering the test.
