8 Silent-e Jobs: Makes a Syllable

Silent-e (Magic-e) has many jobs at the end of base words. Based on Ms. Jane's animated YouTube series, "8 Jobs of the Silent-e (Magic-e).” The videos that correspond with this template include Silent-e (Magic-e) is there to make a syllable, and the exceptions for spelling /kl/ at the end of two syllable words. This template includes activities that include Silent-e (Magic-e) is at the end to make a syllable; also known as “consonant+le”. This template also has visual aids for “Silent-e” or “Magic-e”, and visual aids for the drop, double (1-1-1), and change affixing conventions.
