Thanks-Giving Grove

Description

An interactive learning adventure with the Pilgrims and Native Americans. As students enter Thanks-Giving Grove they are immediately transported to the decks of the Mayflower. The journey unfolds through a captivating story. To disembark from the Mayflower students must engage in interactive comprehension activities that unlock the next chapter of their adventure. Once onshore, students will explore the Pilgrim Village to interact with more comprehension activities in order to unlock a chest containing essential tools for survival. Inside the chest, students will find a bow and arrow or spear. They are to choose their gear for hunting animals for the Thanksgiving Feast. Once they have completed hunting, they must harvest vegetables from the garden for the Thanksgiving Feast. Finally, students will set the table for a Thanksgiving Feast with the Native Americans and Pilgrims.
