Closed Syllables with SCHWA

Description

Schwa is a lazy vowel sound and can be challenging for students learning to read and spell. This set is intended to save time creating your structured literacy lesson on two closed syllable words with a schwa. It includes whiteboard activities as well as a playground challenge. I include morphology practice at this level so some simple morphology review is included. There are pattern pages to help with teaching, word sets to read, two pages of sentences, a mad-libs like activity (that sneaks in some extra dictation!) and more. The playground is set up with action zones and lots of fun challenges.
