There are many activities using these words contained both on the whiteboard and in the playground. There is also free outside of Koala bonus content‼️ I have included links to Wordwall activities and a shared Canva file (having a Canva membership is not needed) where you can customize this playground with new words and material you create or edit. 😁 Why have your students learn HFW's? 🤔 High-frequency words, also known as sight words, are words that appear frequently in written texts. These words are essential for early readers to learn because they make up a significant portion of the words in written language. By recognizing these words quickly and automatically, children can focus on reading more complex words and developing their reading comprehension skills.
