Description

In this ready-to-play, escape room–style ESL playground, students complete English challenges to survive a dragon volcano adventure and reach a peaceful island. Language is embedded naturally into the gameplay, so students are practicing and reviewing while staying fully engaged in the game. Players carefully progress by jumping across platforms, crossing bridges, and unlocking doors, using their English skills to avoid falling into the lava. Along the way, they meet young dragons who introduce the puzzles and guide the adventure. In the final stage, players meet Ignis, the guardian dragon, who presents a special story-based comprehension challenge. Students listen to or read a short story and answer questions to unlock the final exit and escape the volcano. 🧠 Language Skills Practiced: ✔️Vocabulary (nouns, verbs, adjectives, prepositions) ✔️Phonics (initial sounds / first-letter decoding) ✔️Sentence building ✔️Listening and/or reading comprehension ▶️ Try Before You Buy: Play the game for free through my Koala Stories to preview gameplay, pacing, and language level before using it with students.
