He loves exploring playgrounds. He loves hidden places and tunnels, so there are a LOT of places to go and explore: a kingdom scavenger hunt, a garden treasure hunt,, a Boom! room, and his favorite - a maze with lots of themed rooms - just to name a few! To pull together all these unusual and sometimes disconnected places, it became a dream world. Each area/activity has a short story about George, something that may have happened in his daytime life and how that sparked a sleeping dream. The stories are useful for in-class discussion or for homework. With any of the homework ideas, I've added a link to my Google docs. Just save a copy and make whatever edits you'd like so you can use it with your students. There are so many opportunities for discussion, reading, practice with sight words, and having fun in the playground. Thanks so much for taking a look! -Allison
