Basic Phoneme Level- #4 Phonemic Awareness Intervention Series

This is the 4th in a 5 part series of Phonemic and Phonological Awareness Intervention Activities. This set of activities focuses on Basic Phoneme Level Awareness (1st-2nd grade) skills including: Identify — Identify first, last, and middle sounds in a word. Blending — Blend sounds into words. /c/ + /a/ + /t/ = /cat/. Segmenting — Separate the sounds within a word. /cat/ = /c/ + /a/ + /t/. Deletion - Leave out or change a beginning blend or end sound in a word. This intervention series is also associated with an 11 part phonemic awareness series focusing on specific sounds (found in the Marketplace).
