Let's Go to Koala City

Description

Welcome to Koala City! This is a 10-building city playground design with 14 bonus whiteboard slides related to the city. The playground features 3 homes with basements, shopping (grocery store, fast food, bank), and community buildings (library, police station, fire station, school). There are many opportunities for learning activities. This can be used for various subjects, but it is ideal for ESL teachers. The playground gives ESL teachers the opportunity to bring their students into the world and role play daily life, difference scenarios, and various conversations. In Koala City, we can talk about our daily routines, assign Koala dollars and practice spending them at the grocery store, practice asking for help from community helpers, and even talking about directions. The possibilities are endless, but to save you some time, I have included 14 slides that can make this playground its own lesson plan. Use it as a trial or add white boards between slides to focus and elaborate on the different material. I have also included in these slides many different tasks and activities that you can role play with your student in the playground. Enjoy!!! :)
